How are FICO® Scores calculated?
FICO® Scores are calculated from data in your credit report that is grouped into the five categories outlined below. The percentages in the chart reflect how important each of the categories is in determining your FICO® Scores.
Your FICO® Scores consider both positive and negative information in your credit report. Late payments and collections can have a major impact on FICO® Scores, but establishing or re-establishing a good track record of on-time payments may have a positive impact on your score.
